- USGS National Land Cover Data 2006 tile N33W078 (20MB), geotif file in Albers Conical Equal Area [m]. Note, that the prj file NLCD2006_LC_N33W078_v1.prj does not comply with OGC standards by using single quotes, while Index_NLCD2006_LC.prj is correct. Projection information embedded in the NLCD2006_LC_N33W078_v1.tif is also correct. Therefore, GRASS Location wizard creates a location from the georeferenced file tif file and from Index prj file, but NOT from geotif prj file (WKT option).
